Hello! My name is Rocket. My dad named me after Rocket Raccoon on Guardians Of the Galaxy. My parents adopted me when I was 9 weeks old from some people down the street. I was born February 1, 2025. My mom has a little 3 legged pug mix that I absolutely LOVE to play with. My family also has a large boxer/mastiff/husky mix who has seizures. My mom really wanted my dad to have a dog, that’s where I came in! I was supposed to be my dad’s dog. My parents got me ALL of my doggy shots, got me neutered and got me microchipped. I also learned how to use the doggy door. I have been going potty outside very well. Since I have gotten bigger, my big brother’s seizures have dramatically increased. Our vet thinks that I’m causing too much stress on him, because I’m a very hyperactive puppy!! I also LOVE playing with my little sister, who is actually older than me, but she already has 3 legs and l’ve accidentally hurt her a few times. I’m only going to get bigger! Because of these issues, my parents need to find me a different home. I am a very sweet boy! I have some weird quirks though…..I don’t like my mommy’s vacuum, swiffer or anything that moves on the ground, such as wheels. I like to bark at them and bite them. I also bark at my mom when she brushes her teeth, combs her hair and uses her foot file. These things are dangerous and I must protect her!! Car rides are not my friend, I throw up every time I take a car ride. My parents got me a kennel for the back of the car and my vet is prepared to give me something for nausea when I get older if I still need it. She said I can possibly grow out of Intake 9-18-25 OS
