Male 6 months Intake 1-5-24 Mom is LJ Our mighty Joe — aka MJ — is ready for his next adventure: a foster-to-adopt home! We are so thrilled that MJ has been healthy, growing, and is finally ready to find his forever family. MJ is a petite boy at barely 9 lbs — but don’t let his size fool you, he’s every bit a cattle dog (we even had his DNA tested!). MJ is good with dogs, cats, and kids, but we’d love for him to find a family with older children, as younger kiddos can sometimes be a little too rough for this tiny guy. He’s shy at first but warms up quickly once he feels safe. While MJ loves to be near his people, he does not enjoy being picked up — he’s a master escape artist and will wiggle right out of your arms! MJ would love an adopter who understands his cattle dog spirit in a small package — someone patient and loving, ready to help him continue to blossom.
