Description

Meet Auburn 💕 Auburn is a 2–3 year old sweetheart with a shy, gentle soul. She’s the kind of girl who observes first, then slowly lets her guard down once she feels safe. New situations and other dogs can make her nervous, so she appreciates calm introductions and a little extra patience. At home, Auburn may bark when she hears unfamiliar noises, when people walk by, or if a dog approaches too quickly—she’s still learning that the world isn’t as scary as it once was. And honestly, who could blame her? Auburn came from a horrible hoarding/backyard breeder situation, and she’s still figuring out what “normal” life looks like. Once she’s comfortable though? That’s when her personality shines ✨ After potty breaks she often bursts into the cutest zoomies, and she enjoys short, playful moments when she’s feeling safe and confident. Auburn: • Walks well on a leash • Has great recall • Is mostly potty trained (just the occasional accident) • Is working on slowing down at mealtimes • Is actively building her confidence every day She would likely thrive in a quieter, low-activity home, possibly with a calm dog friend she gets along with to help show her the ropes. What she needs most is a patient hooman who understands that love, consistency, and kindness can change everything. Auburn doesn’t need a perfect home—she just needs her home. One where she can learn that life can be gentle, safe, and full of love. 🐶💗 Could that be you? She is spayed Chipped Vaccinated Intake 11-28-25 Washington hoarding
