Nemo is 2 years old, he was seen running in the desert limping. Some nice people tried to catch him but couldn’t, so they left food and water out for him. Long story short he was dumped in Whittmann and was on the run from May 12th to 23rd when he was caught. Took him straight to the vet, scanned him for a chip and he has one but the number was disconnected so the clinic emailed for two days and no answer. We gave him fluids as he was really dehydrated. I held on to him to see if anyone posted a lost dog and nope no one was looking for him. His leg wasn’t getting any better so we did X-rays and his elbow was displaced. We thought we could save it but we had to amputate his front leg. He is a happy healthy guy now and ready for his new home. He takes a little time to trust but who can blame him. He is good with other dogs, no cats, and older kids, as we don’t know if he has been around young kids. He is house broken, crate trained, loves to play ball, and get in the water. intake 5-23-24 stray
